Sadashivanagar Youth Association (SYA) Educational Institution is a recognized institution by the Government of Karnataka, dedicated to providing quality education that nurtures both knowledge and values. It gives me immense pleasure to pen down the message for souvenir “DARPANA” Annual school magazine of SYA group of institutions.
School magazine is a platform for students and faculty to express their creativity. It reflects the wonderful thinking and resourcefulness of students and the academic staff as a team work.


Overall development of the individual is the goal of education and we all have to ensure that there is no stone left unturned to equip the student of today for the challenges of life.


I would like to convey my special thanks to the parents for their cooperation and support and also, all those who support the school directly as members of the SYA group, I wish the Headmistress, staff and students of the school all success in their endeavours.

Here at SYA students are exposed to a wide variety of activities ranging from curricular to co-curricular, cultural to environmental and athletics. Good sportsmanship is an important ingredient in every real-life scenario. As people living in a co-dependent society, we need to learn how to win and lose with dignity. This important lesson is implemented to our children by providing them a platform to work together while organizing events.
We have and continue to create lasting memories for our children – to inspire them, to guide them, and enable them to discover their infinite potential. Their journey through school is an everlasting gift which remains etched in each of their hearts.

This year 2019 was an especially difficult one for the SYA family as the construction work at the premises throughout the period. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the students staff and the Board of Management who worked tirelessly together to achieve the pinnacle of success and bring laurels to our institution.

Warm Greetings from SYA family. It is rightly said by Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam that “All of us do not have equal talent, but all of us have an equal opportunity to develop our talent”.

The Annual Magazine “DARPANA”-2018-19 of the school is brimming with events which are an integral part of its academic year. Throughout the year we at SYA were focused on giving students the opportunities to come out and express themselves; home their skills in different fields and gain confidence through competitions involving public speaking, essay writing, drawing and paintings etc., At the end of the year, we have taken great strides as a team and that perspective has truly been a rewarding year.

We believe that the teachers are the parents to the children at school and we know what is best for them. This is true, but to a certain extent, being their parent is our duty to apply our wisdom in providing the children the best guidance at each step in their life. It will ensure that everything that happens to them is in their possible interest that comes into their journey. The positive energy that is generated to their lives will only strengthen their bond with us.

It is a moment of great pleasure for me as one more edition of the “Darpana” magazine is in the hands of our esteemed readers. The school magazine is a platform to the young minds ignited with creative skills to showcase their thoughts, creativity and imagination.
It also provides an opportunity to the parents and society to catch glimpse of the academics as well as co-curricular activities conducted by the school. SYA school has completed 19 years of its glorious journey. The school is held in high esteem for having played pivotal role in moulding young minds by all its stock holders. I am confident that SYA will further raise its paradigm of education to scale new heights.
